WHY I HATE TRAFFIC LIGHTS

     Now this is not about traffic lights in general, it's mainly about the ones that contain those pesky arrows that tell you to turn.  Now about ten or so years ago they were fine.  The light would turn red and then the arrow would turn green.  But the road commission people got some crazy bizarre thing in their heads that said " Hey let's make it green first."  Now the problem with this is instead of people running red lights as soon as they turned red, we get people running red lights before they turn green.  Confused ??? okay lets make this clear, the arrow turns green in the turn lane, but the main traffic light stays red, your the guy in the main traffic lane and see traffic moving forward and you instinctually start forward.  This is done by all, but I have honestly seen people keep chugging through the light, it' fascinating.

     Now I can see why some do this because the lights even confuse things more by making one direction of traffic and the arrow green while the other direction is at a total stand still.  Now traffic lights are there to control the flow of traffic but the variety in the way they function is a bunch of crap.  And to conclude my rant I will mention the light system that gets my blood boiling.  The fucking turn arrows that start green, then turn red but the red light starts flashing, and stays so until the other traffic lights that control the through traffic stop.  But then the light turns into a solid red and you are left in the middle of a road with no green arrow, just that red fucking light.  Why do they do this, it wouldn't hurt to make it turn green for ten seconds to let the cars trapped turn,  but instead they make us suffer under the light in a state of confusion, wondering why.
